Organization Structure

• Governed by Board consisting of member First Nations Chiefs.
• NPTC members are Dene Tha', Beaver, Little Red River Cree, Tallcree and Lubicon First Nations.
• Day to day administration of programs and staff is overseen by a Chief Executive Officer appointed by the Board.

 How does the Tribal Council Operate?

• Board meets to approve programs, policies, projects, annual budgets, and review reports.
• Official Board Decisions normally require consensus
• President/Chairman acts a official spokesperson on major political and socio-economic issues
• Chief Executive Officer deals with day-to-day program administration, financial and staff issues
• Organizational By-Laws
• Approved Policies and Procedures governing personnel and financial management issues
